The-Kinks-Dedicated-Follower-Of-Fashion-12-record

My blog celebrates street fashion/style and those of us who are no longer 22 years old.

Just because I was born more than 60 years ago (as evidenced by the use of an old Kinks lyric "Dedicated Follower of Fashion") doesn't mean that I'm not interested in the latest catwalk looks, what is happening in Vogue and how I can look my best, all while celebrating the latest shapes, colours and stylings.  So how can we take what is current and wrap into our own style, look amazing and not look like, as my mother-in-law used to say, "mutton dressed as lamb"?  I am always on the look out for great pieces that are current, shapely, feminine and age appropriate.  As someone once said "We're worth it".

This is a small window into my life and what I see out there that I think you may find fun or fabulous or just plain amusing.  Please feel free to respond and I will try to keep up my end of the dialogue.
